Hello everyone! I'm today's Trubyville Roving Reporter. I couldn't get the link to work so I'm 2 day's behind. So here's what happened.On Monday, we started out our morning with morning work. I got to school late, so I didn't have much time to do it But, I was lucky. I finished it all. Spelling was next, the whole class did it all together. It made it easier and more fun. Then, we did math. We learned about GCF (greatest common factor), LCM ( least common multiple) and we practiced some of our factor trees. I'd have to say, GCF and factor trees are some of my favorites! I don't really like LCM that much because it's hard and I don't understand it. We headed over to Music and P.E.. In P. E. we worked on our dancing skills. I'm not a very good dancer, so my best was falling all over the place! Then, we went up to Music.
Then it was time to go to lunch. I had to starve because I didn't want chili burritos. Then we had another one of my favorite things, RECESS!!! After that it was time for Band and Study Hall. Well, I don't go to Band, so there's only one other choice, STUDY HALL. It's not that bad once you get used to it. In Study Hall you get to do work you haven't finished and you get to read. I worked on DOL and my Math, then I read a little. Once I got finished with a couple of chapters in my books, Band was already back.
After Band and Study Hall, we always do DOL. I thought we weren't supposed to do D's over Thanksgiving, but I was wrong. We were supposed to do D's. So, I had to go out in the forum and write one.After DOL, we did Town Time. Town Time is one of my favorite things to do in school because it's fun and it doesn't seem like work. In our town, Pantherville, Megan is our Mayor, I'm the Major, Justin is the Hunter and Brenden is the Blacksmith. I almost forgot, Mrs. Truby is our Queen. We're at the point in our game that it's almost over and we have to find a winner. The way we find a winner is whoever gets 200 pounds of an item from their field automatically wins the game. I hope our team wins! After that, we got out our agendas and wrote down what we did this long Monday.
I packed up all my homework and my books in my backpack to get ready to leave school. I went downstairs in the gym to wait for my mom to pick me up for music (my vocal lessons and guitar lessons.) We headed on our way there. For guitar and vocal I go to Senseney Music. First, I have guitar for 30 minutes. My teacher's name is Ben. I learned about mixolydian. After that, I have vocal lessons. My teacher is named Billie ( and yes, she's a girl.) We practiced a song. Which I forgot the name of. My teacher said to my mom,"She needs to memorize her new song." After lessons I went upstairs and messed with the music boxes and the finger piano. Lastly, I went home to do boring homework!: )
